The rooms, with tatami and a comfy futon, truly captured the essence of Japanese culture and offered lovely views of the water and pedestrian lane. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable. The location outside Kyoto provided a tranquil escape from the city buzz, ideal for exploring nature and shrines. The dining experience, with traditional Japanese dishes, was a delicious highlight. Although the facilities were limited, the overall stay was charming and authentic.
